1.1 - What is personal data and what categories of data do we process at Firecum?
The new General Data Protection Regulation establishes a broader definition of the concept of personal data. Personal data is any information, regardless of its nature and the medium on which it is presented, that is capable of identifying a person. Examples of categories of personal data processed by Firecum are:
- Identification and contact data - Name, identification document number, tax identification number (TIN), age, date of birth, telephone contact, email, address, etc.
- Relationship with Firecum- History of products and services or Newsletter subscribed to.
1.2 - Who is responsible for processing your personal data?
Your data is managed solely by Firecum and we do not pass it on to external organisations (except under the conditions set out in point 1.7).
1.3 - In what situations do we process your personal data?
At Firecum we process your personal data when you make a purchase, when you use our website or when we send you our newsletter. This processing can be done orally, in writing or via our website.
1.4 - For what purposes do we process your personal data?
Firecum guarantees that your personal data will only be processed for the purposes communicated to you and will not be used for any other purpose. We process your personal data in order to guarantee the quality of the service we provide and to be able to respond better to your needs. Some examples of the purposes for which we may use your data are:
- Direct Marketing - To inform you of news, opportunities and promotions that may interest you
- Customer Management - To send you online purchases to the address indicated / To inform you when your order has been dispatched. To inform you of anything related to the order (queries / corrections / stock updates).
1.5 - On what basis do we process your personal data?
These are the circumstances that allow us to process your personal data:
- Your express consent, either in writing or orally, for example, for direct marketing purposes, for you to receive emails from Firecum.
- The legitimate interest of Firecum, for example, for the purposes of improving the quality of the service provided.
Firecum undertakes to process your personal data in such a way as to guarantee the confidentiality, security and protection of such data against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against loss, destruction or damage.
1.6 - How long do we keep your personal data?
Firecum retains your personal data only for the period of time strictly necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it collected it or, as the case may be, until you exercise your right to object or right to erasure. Once this retention period has elapsed, Firecum will delete your personal data.
1.7 - To whom do we pass on your personal data?
Whenever necessary, Firecum may pass on your personal data to third parties - Firecum's partner companies, for example, freight transport companies - solely and exclusively for the purpose of carrying out a service you have contracted, such as the delivery of a product to your home. Your personal data may also be communicated, in compliance with the law, to State entities such as the Tax Authority.
1.8 - What are your personal data protection rights and how can you exercise them?
- Right of access to information - You can obtain confirmation of what personal data is processed by Firecum, as well as information about the purposes of the processing or the retention periods for this data.
- Right to rectification - You can ask for your personal data to be amended if it is incorrect or incomplete.
- Right to erasure - You can request the erasure of your personal data, provided there are no legal requirements for its retention.
- Right to portability - You can receive the personal data you have provided us in a structured, machine-readable digital format.
- Right to object - You can object or withdraw the consent you have previously given to the processing of your personal data.
- Right to restriction of processing - You can ask for the processing of your personal data to be restricted, in the form of:
1.Suspension of processing;
2. limitation of the scope of processing to certain categories of data or processing purposes.
- Right not to be subject to automated individual decisions - You can ask not to be subject to any decision taken solely on the basis of automated processing. These decisions are related to the definition of consumer profiles by Firecum based on your tastes, interests and preferences, search and purchase history, etc., namely in order to provide a quality and adequate service.

What is a Cookie?
